Im leading off this sale with a stylish red heifer that is a 7/8 shorthorn plus. She is out of a first calf Flyboy daughter that is on the path of becoming a powerful donor for us at Narrow Brook Show Cattle. Vicky is a long spine, square hipped, zippered fronted heifer. She is a showmens dream for any age of exhibitor. This is a heifer that I broke in a day, while still on the cow. She is so laid back that I pictured her 10 days after weaning to offer her in Hale Farms Elite Heifer Sale in October. She was as green as spring grass and I knew when she didnt sell that needed a little more time at the feed bunk. With a little silage and time to mature, she went from green to GOLDEN. Normally I would put my best lot in the third slot of the sale, but times change and for that reason she made it easy to choose the all-important lot 1. Im extremely confident that she will make any and everyone look great in the show ring and at the backdrop. Bid with the same confidence that I have.
