EZ2Bid.com has partnered with the Glenn Ag Expo committee and Glenn County Junior Livestock Auction, Inc. (a local nonprofit supporting agricultural education projects throughout Northern California) to provide this event.

If you haven’t already, please register your name and address on the BUYER tab at   glennagexpo.org   for updates and information. Please register at   EZ2bid.com   as a bidder as well.

Lots are being sold on a “per head” basis and approximate weights are being provided by the exhibitors. Based on our knowledge of the investment by the youth, the starting bids will be as follows:

Swine - $900 Sheep - $750 Goats - $600 Steers - $3000 Rabbits - $300 (Pen of 3)

You are encouraged to use the maximum bid feature. Resale option is available on all lots. This is a terminal sale.

After the sale is complete, our committee will contact you to gather the information we need to appropriately recognize your purchase and direct the disposition of the animal. We must gather this information Saturday evening in preparation for Sunday’s livestock shipping event.

Multiple Buyers   - If there are multiple buyers to be recognized for the lot you purchased, please let us know at the time we contact you. Please provide a phone number where you can be reached on Saturday evening when you register to buy.

Other Ways to Support   - If you wish to support this effort, but are not able to purchase an animal, please consider donating to one of the buyer groups, providing a price support or nominating a youth for a stockman award for their outstanding work on their project. This may be done through the   DONATE   tab at   glennagoexpo.org   and is just as important and appreciated as purchasing.

It is our intent to distribute checks to the participating youth on Friday, May 22, and we greatly appreciate your prompt payment to assist us with meeting our goal.

Notes:

We have made arrangements to assist you with your purchases. Animals purchased for your own use will be sent to an inspected packing plant and delivered to the locker service of your choice below. Once delivered, buyer and locker/cut wrap facility assume all responsibly of the carcass. You will be asked to indicate the locker destination of your choice.

HARVEST CHARGES:   Harvest charges will be included on any custom purchase:

Beef: $225 per Head at Los Banos Abattoir, Los Banos, CA

Lamb: $49 per Head at Superior Farms, Dixon, CA

Goats: $52 per Head at Superior Farms, Dixon, CA

Swine: $65 per Head at Olson Meat Co., Orland, CA

Rabbits: No Processing Available, Live Pick Up or Resale Only

Carcass Delivery: The animals will be delivered to the local lockers for cutting and wrapping as specified by you on sale day.

CUSTOM PROCESSING:   You will need to indicate a cut and wrap/locker company.   Charges for their services will be paid directly to the cut and wrap facility when you pick up your meat.

RESALE ANIMALS:   You will be contacted upon the close of the auction to determine if your Lots will be Custom or Resale.

The resale value will be deducted from your gross purchase price. The resale prices for this year are (market prices to be updated 2-3 days prior to the auction):

Beef: $0.90                 Lambs: $0.80                 Swine: $0.80               Goats: $2.70                 Rabbits: $7.50/pen of 3

Terms and Conditions:

PAYMENT: The credit card used to register on EZ2Bid.com will NOT immediately be charged. All livestock sales are considered cash sales and cash, check or Visa/Mastercard are accepted. Buyers will receive invoices at the email address provided by Monday morning, May 18. You may pay for your purchase at Tri Counties Bank, Orland or Willows, between Monday morning and close of business on Wednesday, May 20. Any unpaid invoices at close of business on Wednesday, May 20, will be charged to the card number on file by EZ2Bid. The descriptor on your bank statement will show as "EZ2Bid com". A 3% convenience charge will be added to ALL credit card purchases.
